On August 14, 2024 the Baltimore County Board of Appeals ruled that the 33 acres large Greenspring Manor project cannot move forward. This reversed Judge Maureen E. Murphy’s decision in April. This development would have had a major effect on the Brooklandville area’s sewage capacity, which would have lead to further Chesapeake Bay pollution.
